The Monday, March 6, VHSL Class 5 State Semifinal basketball games, which were played at Heritage High School, were livestreamed and are available to view on demand.
The boys' game featured Woodside High vs. Maury High (Norfolk) at 8 p.m. Woodside had a record of 21-5, and Maury 16-5.

On the girls' side, reigning State Champion Menchville High played Princess Anne (Virginia Beach) at 5:30 p.m. Menchville's record was 24-1 and Princess Anne boasted the same 24-1. The Lady Monarchs had won the girls' basketball region title two years in a row.
