The boys' game featured Woodside High vs. Princess Anne High (Virginia Beach) at 8 p.m. Woodside had a record of 20-5, and Princess Anne 19-6.
On the girls' side, reigning State Champion Menchville High played Salem High (Virginia Beach) at 5:30 p.m. Menchville had a record of 23-1 and Salem 19-5. The Lady Monarchs have won the girls' basketball region title two years in a row.
