In mid-January, NNPS-TV finalized their Apple TV channel and launched it, their second OTT ("over-the-top") TV channel. Over the top means using the internet instead of cable to view movies, TV shows, and live broadcasts. The NNPS-TV Roku channel has been live for one year.
To find the NNPS-TV app on Apple TV, go to the search and enter NNPS. Select the icon and then click on "Get" to download the NNPS-TV app (it's free). After that, it will say "Open" as your choice. You can hold down your remote and select and drag the icon to make it higher on your list of apps.
When you open the app, you will have access to videos on demand of NNPS-TV's shows, like "This Just In" and "School View," plus a live stream of the NNPS-TV channel. This shows you exactly what is currently playing on our TV channel (Cox Channel 47/Verizon FiOS Channel 17). Look for the item called "Live Programming" at the top of the playlists.
NNPS-TV creates award-winning videos that highlight our school division successes and keep the community abreast of the efforts of our teachers, administrators and staff. Our videos cover student learning and growth, division initiatives, sporting events, graduations, and more. With OTT access, NNPS-TV now has even more platforms for viewers to "tune in."
