What is Roku?

Roku streaming players and Roku TV™ are ways to stream movies, TV shows, and videos using the Internet instead of cable.  They are referred to as OTT (over-the-top) streaming devices or television.  Roku supports streaming of major entertainment services like Netflix and Amazon Instant Video, plus news, sports, and music.  NNPS-TV has a Roku channel found in the category "Education."

Is it all Video On Demand or can I watch live programming on Roku?

While Roku generally streams video clips from the Internet, you can get real time or ‘live’ programming from some TV stations, including NNPS-TV.  When you watch a live stream of NNPS-TV, you are watching what is currently being broadcast on the TV channel.  Just choose Live Stream from the playlist to see what is playing on our channel. 

How do I find NNPS-TV on Roku?

Go to your Roku home screen, select "Search" and enter "NNPS."  Or from the Home screen, choose "Streaming Channels" and under Genres, select Educational.  Scroll down until you find the NNPS-TV logo, which looks like a retro television:

Select Add Channel to install the channel on your Roku device.
