NNPS-TV truck visits Warwick High for Digital Learning Day

Telecom Supervisor Ray Price took the remote video production truck to Warwick High School for Digital Learning Day.

Digital Learning Day started in 2012 to "to actively spread innovative practices and ensure that all youth have access to high-quality digital learning opportunities no matter where they live," according to digitallearningday.org.

It was held February 22.

Students who visited the truck learned about remote TV production and the technologies involved in broadcasting.

The remote video production truck is used to broadcast football and other sports, graduations, and other events. The TV team can broadcast live using it.

College & Career Specialist at Warwick High Brittney Williamson said the visit "gave our students a new perspective on education, Telecom, and STEM."
